Copyright & DMCA Policy

Apollo Television takes copyright seriously and expects customers to do the same. We act on infringement notices that meet the requirements of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and comparable laws elsewhere. This page explains how to send one.
Sending an infringement notice
If you think something available through our website or service infringes a copyright you own or represent, email support@apollotelevision.us with a written notice containing all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or of someone authorised to act for them.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say is being infringed.
- Identification of the material you say infringes it, and where it can be found (for example a URL or channel name), with enough detail for us to locate it.
- Your name, postal address, phone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn't authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you own the copyright or are authorised to act for the owner.
After we receive a notice
If a notice includes everything above, we promptly remove the material or block access to it. Where it makes sense, we let the affected user know and forward them a copy of the notice.
Sending a counter-notice
If material you supplied was taken down and you believe that happened by mistake or because it was misidentified, email a counter-notice to support@apollotelevision.us containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and phone number; a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts for your address (or, if you're outside the United States, any judicial district where we can be found); and a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
After a valid counter-notice, we may put the material back within 10 to 14 business days, unless the person who sent the original notice tells us they have filed a court action to stop the infringement.
Repeat infringers
Where appropriate, we suspend or close the accounts of users we find to be repeat infringers.
Misleading notices
The DMCA makes anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents facts in a notice or counter-notice liable for damages. If you aren't sure whether something infringes your rights, it's worth getting legal advice before you send a notice.
